Messages to Christchurch

We are sending messages and letters to Christchurch. We made cards for the children in Christchurch because we wanted to make them happy. Our letters are going in boxes with food in them on an Air New Zealand airplane.

We hope they like our letters!

This was our poem of the week. We are learning to make our reading sound like talking and to use expression. We had to practice using expression and make up actions to make our poem more interesting.

We think we can get better by not shouting, making our actions bigger and by all talking at the same speed.

Bolt went to Waikanae

What an exciting time Bolt had with Gracie over the weekend. He traveled with her family for a holiday in Waikanae. He even got to visit the beach. How exciting!!

Matthew's Handwriting

This is Matthew's handwriting. He wrote it very carefully. He concentrated on his work and didn't rush. Matthew has written the letters in his name correctly which is what we were learning to do.

Bolt our class pet

This is Bolt, our class pet. He is really fluffy and he has a black nose. We get to take Bolt home and take pictures together with him. If you are good at listening to the teacher, respecting each other and follow the instructions you might get a turn to take Bolt home.

We hope everyone gets a turn to take Bolt home. So far Vincent and Lachlan have taken Bolt home. I wonder, who will have a turn tonight.
